Graduated from the University of Siena in 1988, has been a member of the bar since 1992 and is admitted to the higher courts. He has trained at leading Italian and U.S. law firms. He is a consultant to companies of Italian and international significance and has chaired arbitration panels in corporate disputes.
He has been assistant professor of criminal law and of international economic law at the University of Siena. He has been a lecturer at LUISS MANAGEMENT. Author of the scholarly publication edited by the University of Siena ("Studi Senesi") "Law and jurisdiction applicable in summary proceedings: the case of Finansbank A.S.-A. Merloni Spa."
Pier Paolo was professor at the University of Siena in International Law from 2004 to 2012 and in European Union Law from 2004 to 2011.
He was editor of the Raccolta degli Usi della Provincia di Siena and a former member of the Provincial Commission for the Review of Uses at the Siena Chamber of Commerce (Chairman of the Real Estate Commission).
He is co-author of the book (in Italian and English) "Documents for Sustainable Finance - Towards Environmental Sustainability Finance," University for Peace - United Nations - Rome, 2020, Onthenwave publisher. Author of the book "Circular Economy," University for Peace - United Nations - Rome, 2022, Universitalia publisher.
Speaker at various conferences in Italy and abroad on corporate law, European Union law, environmental law and international contracting.
Member of the editorial board of the Series "for a new humanism" of the University of Peace in Rome - United Nations. Attended an Il Sole 24ore Master's degree in corporate law.
He is Professor at the second-level Master's Degree in Financial Criminology at Niccolò Cusano University and in "Facilitated Finance for Enterprise and Self-Entrepreneurship". He is also a member of the teaching and scientific council of these Masters.
